Larry Conners Sues KMOV; Claims Breach of Contract

The Clayton resident and former KMOV anchor was fired in May.

Clayton resident Larry Conners filed a lawsuit Friday, claiming his former employer KMOV violated his contract when it fired him in May.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Conners claims the contract, which began April 15, said he could only be fired without cause after Feb. 14, 2014.

The suit also asks a judge to clarify the terms of Conners no-complete clause, which may determine how long he has to remain off local airwaves.
