Clayton Police Searching for Man Who Robbed Bank in Clayton

Clayton Police are searching for a man who robbed Fifth Third Bank in the 8200 block of Forsyth Boulevard in Clayton at about 1:55 p.m. Monday.

Police said the man entered the bank and gave the teller a note demanding money. After the teller turned over an undisclosed amount of money, the subject left the bank. He did not display a weapon or indicate that he had one.

The person is described as a white man, 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and a slim build.  He wore a blue shirt, tan pants, white shoes and a blue St. Louis Cardinal’s baseball cap with a red bill.

He left the scene in a purple or blue Hyundai vehicle driven by a woman with blond hair and a ponytail.  The vehicle was last seen traveling east on Forsyth Boulevard.
