Richmond Heights Joins Traffic-Warrant Amnesty Program

Better Family Life sponsors the initiative, which helps people with outstanding warrants for traffic violations get their cases closed out.

People with outstanding Richmond Heights traffic warrants can participate in a program that will help close out their cases. The city announced its participation in the Better Family Life Amnesty 2012 initiative this week. Vouchers were distributed earlier this month to people with open warrants for traffic violations. Defendants can return the vouchers with a $100 bond, after which their warrants will be recalled, an email from the city states. Those cases will then be added to an amnesty court docket to be closed out. The vouchers may be submitted to the court, 7447 Dale Ave., between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Sept. 17-21. 'Black Dance, USA' Choreography Blends Tradition and Modernity

The Clayton performance featured modern dance, traditional West African dance and martial arts.

A pastiche of dance styles. The athleticism of well-toned bodies. Remarkable choreography. All of these came together Saturday night at Clayton's Edison Theatre in Black Dance, USA, a concert by Forces of Nature Dance Theatre Company interspersed with performances by Karen Prall and Carvon “Taz” Futrell. It was, quite often, a rousing show. The event is sponsored by Better Family Life, a community development corporation dedicated to the prosperity and growth of the American family. The show is designed to bring together family, friends and community in a positive, safe environment and to encourage fun for the whole family. Forces of Nature artistic director Abdel R.
