The removal of two bridges over Interstate 64 is pushed back another week.
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has delayed a planned weekend closure of Interstate 64 downtown until Feb. 1. The department will now close all lanes and ramps of Interstate 64 in both directions downtown between Hampton and Forest Park Parkway at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1. The closure is weather permitting and may be delayed due to temperatures or significant precipitation. While the interstate is closed, crews will remove the Taylor and Newstead bridges over I-64 as part of a project to construct a new interchange at Tower Grove and Boyle and replace four bridges over the interstate. The Missouri Department of Transportation reports St. Louis work zones for November 8 -14.
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will close all lanes on eastbound Interstate 64 downtown from Jefferson to the Poplar Street Bridge November 8 - 12. Crews will be working on the section of the double deck just over I-55 and the depressed lanes of I-70 downtown. While crews are working on the roadway above, drivers on I-55 heading to I-70 may be detoured onto Memorial Drive and back to the interstate for safety. The ramps from Forest Park Avenue and Pine Street to eastbound I-64 are closed around the clock through November. Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

The Missouri Department of Transportation reports the St. Louis work zones for Oct. 11-17.
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will be closing westbound lanes on Highway 40 again this weekend. All lanes on westbound Interstate 64 will be closed from Broadway to 21st Street Thursday and Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., each day. Two eastbound lanes on the Poplar Street Bridge will be closed from 9 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday. One lane of eastbound I-64 remains closed from 20th/Chestnut to 14th Street around the clock until November. Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

The Missouri Department of Transportation reports on St. Louis area work zones for the Independence Day week and onward.
Construction work in the St. Louis metro region stopped for the Fourth of July holiday at noon on Tuesday, July 3. Work will resume at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 5. From Thursday, July 5 through Saturday, July 7, as part of the Fair St. Louis festivities downtown, the Poplar Street Bridge exit ramps to Memorial Drive will be closed. Other ramps closed for the event include the eastbound Interstate 70 ramp to Memorial Drive/Pine Street, the northbound Interstate 55 on ramp from Marion, and the northbound I-55 exit ramp to Memorial Drive. Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

Along with the MoDOT report, MADD has some advice for what to do if you see a drunk driver.
This week, considering the New Year's Eve parties coming Saturday night, Traffic Troublemakers shares information from Missouri MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) on what to do if you see a drunk driver. Following that is the weekly report from MoDOT. Here's MADD's advice: Once again, a weekend free of highway work zones The Missouri Department of Transportation will halt all work zones beginning at noon Friday, December 30. Work zones will resume on Tuesday, January 3 at 9 a.m. Traffic will continue to be restricted in areas where there are permanent barriers. Crews may continue to work on sections of roadway closed to the public (such as the Route 141 construction in St. Louis). If required, crews will also close lanes where needed …
