$92,000 Clayton Contract to Fund 20-Year Strategic Plan

The Novak Consulting Group, an Ohio company, will work with city officials and residents on the project.

A consulting group will use $92,000 to help Clayton develop a strategic plan governing the city's next 20 years. At a meeting March 13, the Board of Aldermen authorized City Manager Craig Owens to enter into a contract for the services with The Novak Consulting Group, based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The city budgeted $100,000 for the project. The work will include a detailed implementation plan for the next five years, a March 13 memo from Owens to Mayor Linda Goldstein and the aldermen states. Molecular Bloom Flourishes with Clayton Aldermen Vote

The board met Tuesday night at City Hall and also discussed upgrades at The Wilson School, a new roof for a parking structure and more.

The meeting began at 6:15 p.m. at City Hall with a discussion session, followed by the regular meeting at 7.
