TRAFFIC ALERT: St. Louis Lane, Ramp Closures For Friday's Cardinals-Giants Game

Traffic will be able to access downtown for Friday's Cardinal NCLS playoff game. Two lanes on eastbound Highway 40 will be open for tonight’s game, but the 14th Street ramp is closed.

The Missouri Department of Transportation is advising drivers of lane and ramp closures for Friday night's St. Louis Cardinals NLCS game. Two lanes of eastbound Highway 40 will be open, along with the 6th and 11th Street ramps. However, the 14th Street ramp is closed Friday and all weekend. The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the two right lanes on westbound Interstate 64 on the Poplar Street Bridge downtown, approximately one hour after the Cardinals’ National League Championship game starts. MoDOT: Cardinals Fans, Allow Extra Travel Time to Busch Stadium

The Missouri Department of Transportation reports on the St. Louis work zones for October 18-24.

St. Louis Cardinals fans will have two lanes on eastbound Interstate 64 open for all scheduled National League Championship Games. The exit ramps from eastbound I-64 to 6th and 11th Street will both be open to allow Cardinals fans to get to the games. Cardinals fans traveling on I-70 should remember that the express lanes are closed into downtown while the gates await repairs. All fans should allow a little extra time to get to a game. MoDOT will also close two lanes on westbound I-70 between Cass and Madison next Monday thru Wednesday (Oct. 22-24) at 8 p.m. for construction on the Missouri I-70 interchange. The lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning. The ramp from westbound I-70 to Madison will tentatively close at 8 p.m. …

This one is fairly easy, but lets give it a try. Your kid's school, obviously is promoting Cardinals success this week. Your kid wants to go to school decked out in Cards red and white gear every day this week. On to the question? Is this getting to be a bit of overkill, or do we just say "Go Cards Go" and let the kids go head first into the entire week. Your comments on this subject will be greatfully appreciated. The Shane Co. has been the jeweler to the St. Louis Cardinals for 13 years.

The Shane Co. jewelry store, in Brentwood now, and moving to Olivette in early 2013, has been the official jeweler to the St. Louis Cardinals for 13 years. The store has been in St. Louis for 15 years. Rordan Shane was in St. Louis last week.
