A new business in downtown Clayton plans to serve as both a cocoa bar and a beauty salon. Sip Salon, 7818 Forsyth Blvd., is owned by Sharon Hall. The larger, 800-square-foot section of the building would feature seating for eight people and sell cocoa and coffee, along with scones, bagels and other food items, a memo from City Manager Craig Owens and planning director Susan Istenes states. The smaller, 150-square-foot section would feature a beauty salon. Additional seating for six people would be available in a common hallway. The two services would be separated by a glass-paneled wall. The facility eventually would be open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
