Savile Row to Obama, Romney: Trade Golf Shirts for Vests and Ties
It's hard to understand why the 2012 presidential candidates are dressing down given the prestige of the office at stake, Wendy Jones of Savile Row in Clayton told FOX 2.
Presidential candidates Barack Obama and Mitt Romney should consider donning vests and ties instead of golf shirts and mom jeans, a representative of Clayton clothier Savile Row told FOX 2. Quoting from the FOX 2 video: "We are not understanding why our candidates are dressing down," said Wendy Jones of Savile Row in Clayton. "If it is to become one of the people, they're not one of the people. They're going for the largest office in our country and therefore they should be portraying themselves in that light."
