Clayton-Based Nonprofit Ranks High on Social Impact

OASIS was among 100 nonprofits from across the country listed in the S&I 100, an index created to measure nonprofits' social impact.

A Clayton-based nonprofit has been recognized in a new ranking that helps donors know if a nonprofit has a measurable impact on the community. OASIS works on solutions to the problems of aging, and the new S&I 100 ranks OASIS in the top 100 nonprofits nationally. “For the past 10 years, we’ve been moving in the direction of using programs that have research behind them and can produce measurable outcomes,” said Marcia Kerz, president of OASIS.  Just as the S&P 500 helps people make investment decisions, the S&I 100 was created as a way to help donors decide whether a nonprofit is having an impact or not.  Stay connected to Clayton news by liking Patch on Facebook: www.facebook.com/ClaytonRichmondHeightsPatch Kerz pointed out three OASIS …

Nonprofit Funding Available from Clayton Group

The money will support capital improvement projects, Ladue-Frontenac Patch reported.

The Clayton-based Regional Business Council is seeking applicants for the It's Our Region Fund 2012 program, Ladue-Frontenac Patch reported. The fund provides financing for nonprofits' capital improvement projects. Quoting from Ladue-Frontenac Patch: "The focus of projects is Community Development, Beautification and Healthy Living. This could be building a playground or ballpark in an underserved neighborhood, planting flowers in an urban area, and funding a sculpture or installing a fountain in a local park."
