Gerard Craft's Pastaria began serving brunch this Mother's Day weekend, RFT's Gut Check reports. They'll be serving Saturdays and Sundays, 8 a.m.-2 p.m., according to Gut Check. (Their regular lunch menu will also be available starting at 11 a.m., according to the restaurant's Facebook page.) The brunch menu is not currently available online. The series of outdoor happy hours in downtown Clayton is in its 29th year.
Parties in the Park will return to downtown Clayton's North Meramec Avenue for its 29th season starting May 9, a news release issued Tuesday states. The outdoor happy hours are held from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month through Sept. 12. They occur between Forsyth Boulevard and Maryland Avenue. “The response to last year’s move to downtown Clayton was unanimous," stated Ellen Gale, executive director of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce, in the release. "Everyone loved it. Businesses and restaurants saw an increase in sales and traffic, and those in attendance enjoyed the comfort and convenience of the party on Meramec.” Perks include free admission, half-priced beer from 5 to 5:30 p.m. and live music.
