Clayton High School announced that interim principal Dan Gutchewsky is now the school's new principal, the St. Louis Post Dispatch reported on Tuesday. The position becomes effective Jan. 1. The School Board voted unanimously after Superintendent Sharmon Wilkinson recommended removing "interim" from Gutchewsky's title. Dr. Louise Losos has taken a leave of absence from her role as principal of Clayton High School (CHS). The leave began Monday. "This is both a personal issue for Louise and a personnel matter for the district," stated Chris Tennill, chief communications officer for the School District of Clayton, in an email.
