Draft of Clayton Schools' 2013-14 Academic Calendar is Released

The draft calendar will be presented to Clayton's school board on Jan. 9.

A draft version of the 2013-14 academic calendar for Clayton schools has been released to the public.  The calendar will be presented to the Clayton Board of Education during a meeting on Jan. 9. The calendar requires school board approval before becoming official.  If approved, classes in the 2013-14 school year would start on Aug. 14, 2013 and end on May 30, 2014. A Thanksgiving break is planned between Nov. 27-29, a winter break is planned between Dec. 23 and Jan. 3, and spring break is planned for March 17 through 21.  The draft calendar was released through a Dec. 21 email newsletter.
