Auto Shop Approved in Richmond Heights

City Council granted an operating permit for the new company during its Monday night meeting.

The owners of new auto-detailing business DentEx in Richmond Heights have been granted an operating permit. It happened Monday night during a meeting of City Council. John and Cynthia Timmermann and Larry Millis own the business, which is located at 1401 S. Big Bend Blvd. and offers dent removal, among other types of work. The company had been functioning with a temporary permit and will now receive a new permit, City Manager Amy Hamilton said. This is the third time the owners have operated the business at this site. DentEx will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, according to its website. More about the new business on Patch:

Auto Shop Comes to Big Bend in Richmond Heights

The new business is located at 1401 S. Big Bend Blvd.

Dent removal and other car touchups will be offered at a new automotive shop in Richmond Heights. The business is located at 1401 S. Big Bend Blvd. across from Telle Tire, building and zoning commissioner Dave Reary said. John and Cynthia Timmermann and Larry Millis requested an operating permit for the business May 17 during a meeting of the city's Plan & Zoning Commission. Reary said he's not sure what the new business will be called, though he said John Timmermann previously operated a company in the city called Dent Wizard. Other work at the site will include detailing and repairs of scratches and bumpers.
