Ask the Patch Pro: Seeking Local Dentists

Patch is looking for experts who can talk teeth and offer their expertise this week.

This week on Halloween, kids across the nation will go from house-to-house with one goal: Fill their bags with as much candy as possible.  Since an abundance of sugary treats will most likely invade our homes the next few days, we want to discuss healthy teeth and dental hygiene.  We want to find the answers to all your dental questions this week, but we need a little help. In the latest edition of "Ask the Patch Pro" we need local experts who can answer readers' questions and offer advice. If you are a local dentist or consider yourself an expert and can answer these questions and more, let us know two ways. One: You can leave a comment on this post. Two: You can send an email to jordan.lanham@patch.com. We need experts to answer …

Moms Talk Q&A

Moms Talk: Should Stealing Require an Apology?

If your child were to steal something from a local business, how would you respond?

This week, our question for St. Louis parents focuses on discussing honesty and integrity with children. Suppose you take your 12-year-old to the five-and-dime store. You walk out and he's got a handful of bubble gum. You ask him where he got it, knowing he doesn't have any money, and he responds that he just helped himself. So onto this week's question: Do you go back, explain the situation to the manager and require your child to apologize? Pay for it? Ignore it because it's small change?

Trashy Trick-or-Treat: Advice for an Eco-Friendly Halloween

Green may be the best Halloween color of all for Clayton and Richmond Heights ghosts and goblins.
