After a whirlwind book tour that saw him stopping in St. Louis twice in recent weeks, native son and Bravo Television executive Andy Cohen is atop the local bestselling book list. Another St. Louis native son, former basketball star and politician Bill Bradley, also cracked the top five. Here's a roundup of the best-selling books in five St. Louis-area independent bookstores from the week ending May 13. Saturday will be a big night for the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW). The women’s organization, with roots extending back to its charter in 1893, will present its biggest and most expansive fundraiser in chapter history. The group is hosting Bravo St. Louis at NEO on Locust from 7-11 p.m. This is billed as an urban chic fundraiser and it celebrates the arrival of Clayton High School graduate Andy Cohen, executive vice president for original programming and development for the Bravo cable television network. Bravo is a subsidiary of NBC Universal. Cohen, an Emmy award-winning television producer and host, will be master of ceremonies for the evening. Organizers set a goal of 350 tickets sold, and they recently eclipsed the 300 mark…
