College football's championship game on Jan. 7, 2013, will feature the top two teams in the country. Are you looking for a place to watch the game in St. Louis?
We're nearing the end of college football's bowl game season. At 7:30 p.m. Central on Monday, Jan. 7, the BCS National Championship Game will feature Notre Dame vs. Alabama. The game is scheduled for ESPN. The game includes at least one local tie to St. Louis. De Smet Jesuit's Andy Bauer, a junior offensive lineman, and one of the top prospects in the class of 2014, has been heavily recruited by Nick Saban's Crimson Tide. He was a guest of Alabama at the Iron Bowl game vs. Auburn earlier this season. The Sporting News offers some predictions with a pregame analysis on its website. A thief turned one Alabama family's summer movie experience into a headache, the Richmond Heights Police Department reported. It happened June 23 when the perpetrator broke into the family's as they visited the AMC Esquire 7, 6706 Clayton Rd. The person stole a purse containing a checkbook, a bank card, jewelry and a cellphone, along with five suitcases full of clothing. More recent weird crime articles on Patch:
