Gina Mitten Wins State Rep Primary in 83rd District

Mitten celebrated with her supporters at Las Palmas in Maplewood on Tuesday evening. The 83rd District includes all or parts of Maplewood, Richmond Heights, Brentwood, Rock Hill, Webster Groves and south St. Louis.

Gina Mitten won the Democratic primary on Tuesday, and is on her way to becoming state representative in the 83rd District. The 83rd District includes Maplewood, most of Brentwood and the parts of Richmond Heights generally south of Highway 40. Gina Mitten for State Representative had nearly $18,000 on hand, as compared to the roughly $4,100 held by the group Vote Trout. Other highlights from the reports:

The money isn't equal no matter how you try to fudge the numbers. That is why my vote goes to Mrs. Mitten. She is a hardworker and a fighter for any just cause. She is a late in life attorney after being a…   more ›
