Robert Kerr's Service to Clayton Earns Him 'Person of the Year' Recognition

Kerr lives and works in Clayton, and serves as president of the Clayton Education Foundation and Clayton Recreation Sports and Wellness Commission.

Working to solve challenges for students and educators in Clayton is more than a volunteer activity for lifelong resident Robert Kerr.  For Kerr, a commitment to the community he grew up in is simply part of his responsibility.  "I don't think it's right to sit on the sidelines and complain about something," said Kerr, who served as a director on the Clayton Board of Education between 2007-10. "I wanted to do everything I could to help maintain the quality of the schools."  Kerr's community service gained him the recognition as the 2012 Clayton Person of the Year on Patch. Meet Andrea Moore, the 2012 Richmond Heights Person of the Year

Did you know that Moore, an office clerk with the city, previously performed on comedy shows and plays?

After Andrea Moore was selected by readers of Clayton-Richmond Heights Patch as the 2012 Richmond Heights Person of the Year, we at Patch asked Moore a few questions for a feature on the website.  Moore, who has worked as a clerk with the city for the past two years, was nominated by a Patch reader because she "has a pleasant attitude and always goes above and beyond to help people." The voting period lasted from Dec. 13 through Dec. 26 after a three-day nomination period.
