<p>The <a href="http://www.claytonhistorysociety.org/">Clayton History Society</a> describes Hanley House on its website as "the only rural landmark in the modern city of Clayton." The building is on the National Register of Historic Places.<br /><br />The green-columned house sits behind a white picket fence and now functions as a museum amid Hanley Park. Tours are offered throughout the week and on weekends.</p>
<p>The park is open during the day and features a bench and shade trees.</p>
