The mission of Central Presbyterian Church is to spread the teachings of Jesus Christ. The church offers several worship services, a missions department, and a number of other programs. Its choir has performed throughout the world. The church also offers a Sunday shuttle service that takes people from a parking lot behind the former Layton's Restaurant building, 7950 Clayton Road, to the church building for worship. It is affiliated with the nearby Central Christian School. Central Presbyterian's youth leaders work with students at the junior high and high school levels.
