Clayton's Gallop Law Firm Partners with St. Louis Charities

The company will help raise awareness of organizations such as Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri and KidSmart throughout the year.

-based will showcase a number of St. Louis-area charities as part of a yearlong initiative, the law firm announced Tuesday in a news release.

The company will run a monthly charity-awareness campaign, titled "Year of Making a Difference," using LinkedIn and other media. Each month, attorneys and staff will help out at activities managed by a different nonprofit. The firm also will donate $1 to that organization for every new follower of the firm's LinkedIn profile that month.

"So far as we know, Gallop is the only law firm in St. Louis with a progressive program of this kind," stated managing partner Thomas Campbell in the release. "Many law firms support a variety of non-profit enterprises. Yet, it is never enough because charitable needs in our community loom large. 'The Year of Making a Difference' is one way Gallop is trying to do more in a challenging economy.”

The project kicks off Wednesday with a reception at 's Skip Viragh Center for the Arts. The networking event will feature representatives from participating charities and St. Louis-area leaders.
