Scholarship Foundation Hosting Free FAFSA Workshop December 11

The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis will be hosting a FREE workshop on completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 6:30 pm. The workshop will be held at The Scholarship Foundation office (8215 Clayton Road, 63117).

The FAFSA is a mandatory part of applying for virtually all financial aid programs. Although the FAFSA is much less complex than it used to be, it can still be a confusing and tricky process. The presentation and accompanying workbook walks families through the FAFSA one page at a time, emphasizing specific areas that tend to create confusion. This includes addressing frequently asked questions, troubleshooting some unique scenarios, and making recommendations for handling other special circumstances. Additionally, families will learn the part FAFSA plays in the application process and why it is important to complete the form accurately and submit it as early as possible when seeking financial aid.

Although the workshop is free, registering is appreciated for planning purposes. For more information or to register, please call 314-725-7990 or email info@sfstl.org
