SSM St. Mary's Welcomes Twins as First Babies of 2014!

SSM St. Mary’s is pleased to announce the arrival of Gabrielle Annette and Isabella Sue Ann Bonin as the hospital’s first babies of 2014. Gabrielle wins the prize for being the first arrival as she was born January 1 at 1:33 a.m. weighing 4 pounds, 13.1 ounces, and measuring 17.2 inches long. Her sister Isabella was quick to follow at 1:35 a.m. weighing 4 pounds, 13.4 ounces and measuring 18.1 inches. Mom, Tessie; dad, Michael; and babies are all doing well. Gabrielle and Isabella will go home to big brother, Noah, 3, and sister, Justice, 1.

The twins original due date was February 8. With their early arrival and being twins, the Bonin family came to SSM St. Mary’s from Fairfield, Ill. to deliver their babies because of the high-risk pregnancy center that St. Mary's Health Center offers, which is home to the nation's leading OB care for high-risk moms and babies.

SSM St. Mary’s congratulated the Bonin family for the twins arrival as the hospital’s first babies of 2014 with gift baskets filled with books, blankets, bibs, toys and several other necessity items.
