Tuesday Night Doubleheader Action in Clayton: Two Fields Busy

Four coed softball teams battled in the evening heat in Clayton's Shaw Park.

It was the Moneyballers vs the Ump Yours on field #5 and against on field #6 Tuesday evening in the coed league.

The play was spirited despite the heat.

"It's a great league," Dawn Lynch, pitcher for Krueger's said. "I love the umps." She said she's doing great as long as she can keep the lead.

Krueger's barkeeps downed the Armstrong Teasdale attorneys 16-8 in the first game, and were up 5-2 in the second when Patch left the game.
