Update: Former Clayton Principal Won't Take Over Arts Academy
Parents at Grand Center Arts Academy protested the hiring of Dr. Louise Losos.
Dr. Louise Losos, former principal of Clayton High School, won't serve as the principal of Grand Center Arts Academy in 2013-14.
Losos was named the principal of the charter school last week.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the board decided Thursday not to install Losos as the school's leader next year after protests from parents, who were upset by the failure to renew the contract of the previous principal.

Dr. Louise Losos resigned from the Clayton School District in June 2012 after a claim posted online in early April of that year that the principal had created a Facebook profile under the name Suzy Harriston. She had been on a leave of absence from the district since April 2012.
