Survey: Washington University Ranks No. 1 for Administration

The school—which lies in Clayton, University City and St. Louis City—also won recognition for its food, dorms and quality of life from The Princeton Review.

While Washington University can tout its academic credentials, it also has earned bragging rights in several other areas, a new survey by The Princeton Review states.

Washington University ranked No. 1 in a category titled "School Runs Like Butter". Translation: The school topped the list in the ranking of Best Administered Colleges. The survey highlighted the top 20 schools in each category. 

The Princeton Review surveyed 122,000 students at 376 top colleges.

The school also earned kudos for its dorms, campus food and overall quality of life.

While Wheaton College in Illinois topped the list of Best Campus Food, Washington University ranked seventh. Under the category Dorms Like Palaces, the school ranked fifth. Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, PA, nabbed the top spot for best dorms.

Washington University also made the grade for offering students the Best Quality of Life, coming in at No. 20 on the list. Rice University was No. 1.
