Solar Panels at MRH Provide a Green Lesson to Students

The school district installed 40 solar panels.

The installation of 40 solar panels on top of the cafeteria at MRH doesn't just have environmental benefits--it's a built-in lesson for the school district's science teachers to use, according to a report from MRH's microCHIP.

In the attached video, MRH Director of Buildings and Grounds Beth Rowland explains the impact the solar panels have on the school district's energy needs.

The solar panels displace the energy used by approximately 61 computers over the course of the school year, she said.
