Science Fair Yields Awards for Students at Clayton, MRH

The honors division of the 2012 Academy of Science-St. Louis Science Fair happened in February, and students from Clayton and Maplewood Richmond Heights high schools brought home a dozen awards.

One Clayton student has been named a finalist in the honors division of the 2012 Academy of Science-St. Louis Science Fair held last month. Numerous (CHS) and (MRH) high school students have been named semifinalists.

The MRH School District made the announcement on its website. Shuyang Li, a finalist from CHS, will receive a $1,000 scholarships and has been invited to attend the Queeny Park science fair in May to compete for additional awards.

Semifinalists also can bring their projects to the May fair to compete.

The award-winners are:
