MRH Board Agenda: Expansion Planning, Police Relationship

Expansion planning, work with African American parents and the school district- relationship are among the items set for discussion Tuesday by the Maplewood Richmond Heights School Board.

The work session is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

  • Increase participation of African American parent involvement in the areas of test scores, attendance
  • Promote good work
  • Improve and develop community feedback loops
  • Develop succession planning for the board
  • Identify MRH leaders for future board and committees
  • Tour district buildings
  • Train volunteer committees
  • Study books or articles about successful boards
  • Develop better relationship with MRH School District and Maplewood Police Department
  • Develop ways of recognizing students and staff
  • Restructure meetings
  • Give more time to understanding district finances
  • Improve superintendent evaluation
  • Institute culture of academic rigor
