Millions in Wydown Work Packages Approved

The Clayton Board of Education voted Monday to move forward with the work.

The Clayton Board of Education has approved for construction at , an official confirmed Wednesday.

The board gave its OK to the work—including projects involving roofing, sheet metal, drywall and electricity—at its meeting Monday, said Chris Tennill, chief communications officer for the .

It also approved $180,000 in tuckpointing work at the district's elementary schools, an athletic field house and Centene Field bleachers.

The board is next scheduled to convene Aug. 24 for a joint session with the Clayton Board of Aldermen and a regular meeting, the district's website states.
