Louise Losos, a Longtime Educator, Has Been Active at Clayton Events

The principal holds a doctorate in education from Saint Louis University and has been present for such milestone as the dedication of Centennial Plaza.

Dr. Louise Losos has an extensive educational background and has served actively at since 2005.

The principal is , the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Saturday.

She holds a doctorate in education from Saint Louis University, a master's degree in history from Washington University and a bachelor's degree in history from Harvard University, a biography posted to the CHS website states.

Losos previously worked as an assistant principal at in Ballwin and as a social studies teacher at .

Losos has been an active attendee of CHS events, including and the December . She also supported students and community members as they rallied in when members of the .

In February, as part of the Words of Wisdom (WOW) Speaker Series.

During her tenure, CHS has been ranked among the best high schools in the U.S. by Newsweek magazine.

"Our high ranking is a tribute to the hard work of our students and the dedication of our entire staff," Losos stated in a June 22 news release from the School District of Clayton. "I am proud of our Greyhound community for this significant achievement. We will continue our work of holding high expectations and striving to provide the best possible education to our students."
