Urban Agriculture Committee Holds Public Meeting at MRH High School

The Missouri Joint Committee on Urban Agriculture will host a public informational hearing beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at .

The event will be held in the school's auditorium.

The committee has been tasked with researching and making legislative recommendations about urban farming and sustainable living in the state.

Three of the 10 committee members are from the St. Louis area. They are State Rep. Stacey Newman (D-), State Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal (D-University City) and State Sen. Jim Lembke (R-St. Louis County), who is vice chairman of the committee.
