Travel to Istabul Turkey Orientation Meeting

The Clayton Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a trip to Istanbul Turkey in November.  An orientation meeting providing detailed information will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 20th at the Center of Clayton (50 Gay Avenue).  The trip is open to anyone wishing to explore Istanbul.

 

Travelers will enjoy 7 nights and 9 days exploring Istanbul – a city uniquely located on two continents for $2299 per person.  The cost includes round-trip airfare from JFK to Istanbul Turkey, a four-star hotel, 12 meals, sightseeing and admissions per itinerary, International Business Exchange, professional tour director, baggage handling, airline fuel surcharges/fees, hotel and airport transfers and transportation by deluxe air-conditioned motorcoach.

This incredible adventure leaves JFK November 7th for the Istanbul Ataturk Airport.   Travelers will visit Topkapi Palace, The Blue Mosque, Byzantine Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar.  An International Business Exchange is available to learn about local business practices.  Travelers will have free time to explore and may select optional tours which include a Bosphorus Cruise, Izmir, Ephesus and Turkish Bath.

Travelers may opt to extend their trip by 2-nights with a tour of Cappadocia, an area known for its volcanic landscapes.  Here one will visit Kaymaki, an Underground City, where Christians hid from their persecutors.  They will also discover the Open Air Museum in Gerome.
