Help Map Clayton School District's Future

community members are invited to attend one or more workshops this month aimed at honing the city's vision for its public schools, a news release issued Wednesday states.

CLAYTON360 meetings are planned on three dates:

  • 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. April 21 in the (CHS commons)
  • 9 to 11 a.m. April 23 at
  • 7 to 9 p.m. April 24 in the CHS commons

During the meetings, participants will hear a report about what the 's Visioning Committee has learned during the past two months. The committee—composed of parents, staff and community members—has been conducting surveys, focus groups and interviews about the district's mission, vision and core values.

Notes will be taken during the meeting to reflect participants' comments and suggestions, Chief Communications Officer Chris Tennill said.

The committee, which also includes administrators and students, expects to present a summary of its findings to the Clayton Board of Education on June 13.
