Free Back-to-School Children's Vision Screening

The Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation is dedicated to helping kids start off the school year with better vision. Since
1995, the Foundation has screened 240,000 children, including 7,000 in the St. Louis region last year, for amblyopia, otherwise known as “lazy eye,” and other
vision conditions through its free Children’s Vision Screening program. On August 4-5, 2012, the Foundation will hold its largest free Back-to-School screening event for children ages six months to six years at the Saint Louis Science Center.
