Clayton High School announced that interim principal Dan Gutchewsky is now the school's new principal, the St. Louis Post Dispatch reported on Tuesday.
The position becomes effective Jan. 1. The School Board voted unanimously after Superintendent Sharmon Wilkinson recommended removing "interim" from Gutchewsky's title.
Gutchewsky became interim principal following the resignation of Louise Losos, who had used a fake Facebook identity to communicate with students.
