College Honors: Students from Clayton, Richmond Heights

Here's a look at recent graduates and award-winners from St. Louis.

Several and students recently received academic honors for their work at the college level.

Students who graduated in May include:

  • John McAfee of Clayton, Southern Methodist University. He received a bachelor of arts degree in biological sciences, music and Spanish.
  • Elicia Wartman of Clayton, Ithaca College (Ithaca, NY). She graduated from the School of Humanities and Sciences with a major in psychology.
  • Parissa Ziaiardestani of Richmond Heights, Washington University. She graduated with a master of arts in Islamic and Near Eastern studies from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. She is the daughter of Shahnauaz and Mohammad Ziaiardestani.
