College Honors: Students from Clayton, Richmond Heights
Here's a look at recent graduates and award-winners from St. Louis.
Several and students recently received academic honors for their work at the college level.
Students who graduated in May include:
- Michael Bollinger of Clayton, Southern Methodist University (Dallas). He received a bachelor of business administration in finance.
- John McAfee of Clayton, Southern Methodist University. He received a bachelor of arts degree in biological sciences, music and Spanish.
- Elicia Wartman of Clayton, Ithaca College (Ithaca, NY). She graduated from the School of Humanities and Sciences with a major in psychology.
- Parissa Ziaiardestani of Richmond Heights, Washington University. She graduated with a master of arts in Islamic and Near Eastern studies from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. She is the daughter of Shahnauaz and Mohammad Ziaiardestani.
Students named to the spring dean's list at their respective school included:
- Emma McGowan of Clayton, Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI). She is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in an undeclared major.
- Meris Hoxha of Clayton, University of Hartford (West Hartford, CT)
- Simone Bernstein of Clayton, St. Bonaventure University (St. Bonaventure, NY). She is majoring in undeclared arts.
