Clayton's Rada Lowery Advances in Talent Competition

The Clayton High School student made it to the semifinals in the St. Louis Teen Talent Showcase Competition.

A Clayton performer is advancing to the semifinal round of the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition.

The talented teen is Rada Lowery, a Clayton High School student who is a singer and pianist.

 narrowed the field from more than 100 acts to just 32. Winners will earn thousands of dollars in scholarships, and universities and organizations such as Lindenwood University and The Muny also are offering scholarships and prizes.

The semifinals will happen March 31. The final 12 acts will perform April 27 at the Fox Theatre.
