"Clayton High School is a special place and the responsibility of the principal is to be a good steward of the vision of CHS," Gutchewsky stated in the email. "The priorities, needs and issues facing CHS should not change because of a transition in leadership. We have worked together as a faculty to develop our priorities and advance our initiatives. I plan to continue to move us forward with the help of an excellent administrative team and the support of the faculty."

Losos began her leave April 9. The district has said about the leave.
