Bomb Threat Found Tuesday at MRH Elementary, No Device Discovered

A note found by a staff member Tuesday indicated there was an explosive device in the school building.

A note found Tuesday at Maplewood Richmond Heights Elementary School indicated a bomb was placed in the school building.

An exhaustive search by Richmond Heights and Maplewood Police Departments turned up no such device.

According to Fox 2, a staff member found the anonymous note. The building was deemed safe after the search and d no evacuation was necessary.

Making false bomb threats is a crime under Missouri law.
