Bob Bone of Clayton High School Recalls Birth of 3-Pointers

Former star basketball player Bob Bone, now 's athletic director, recalls the introduction of the 3-point shot in an article this week on STLhighschoolsports.com article.

Quoting from the article:

"Bone … grew up playing for legendary Collinsville coach Vergil Fletcher. A terrific shooting guard in high school and an all-American in college at Missouri-St. Louis, Bone didn't spend much time looking for 20-foot jumpers."
