Homes New to the Clayton Market in December

Only six homes that are new to the market in the last 10 days? So what do Realtors do during the "off" season?

So what do Realtors do during the “off” season? Well, there really isn’t an off season. Even though there isn’t a big rush of homes coming on the market this month or homes going under contract, there is still a lot of activity for our business. Right now, we are busy meeting with sellers that are interested in selling in the spring. We are working with incoming university recruits that will move in the early summer. And we are finishing contract negotiations for homes that went under contract in November that will close this month and in January. 

Overall, there seems to be a lack of inventory to choose from for a buyer. This is usually good news for a seller, but there still needs to be enough on the market for a buyer to compare one home to another. I expect the spring market to be robust with activity.
