Losing the Trolley War

Do we have a responsibility to keep up with the Joneses? The problems with chasing first.

As I was running through The Loop over the weekend, it became clear that we are losing the trolley war. I can't believe that we aren't going to be the first folks to get a neighborhood trolley. It seems like our cities have way too much going for them to lose out on being the first to have this essential piece of urban revival. We have to keep up with the rest of the area.

Can't everyone see the beauty of a trolley rumbling down the streets connecting neighborhoods, brings folks to and from the merchants and restaurants throughout our neighborhood? It is a dream for so many, and we are going to lose out to The Loop.

Ok, if we are clearly losing the Trolley War, then what is the next thing that we can prevail? Can we top out on friendliest city list? Can we be the city with the most bloggers? Can we become the city with the best grass? There has to be something that is worth striving for as a community. If someone thinks of the right thing, please comment, and we will get the ball rolling.
