Afraid of the Fall Weather

Change is funny. We beg for it, and then we don't know what to do with it. Enjoy the fall.

Something is wrong. My body doesn't know what to do without the air-conditioner running. The humidity has left the air, and it is like someone took my favorite wet blanket away. I was starting to get used to being soaked from head to toe after every run even the short ones.

Nothing seems to make sense. What is this fresh air blowing through the windows. Is it possible to actually enjoy a morning on the front porch without sweating before breakfast. Am I on vacation? Did someone put me on a plane to Maine without me knowing? I'm nervous it is going to snow next week, and the space between sweat and shovel won't be long enough.

People walking down the street seem happy. Where did all of the suffering faces go? I was much more comfortable seeing folks that way. Is it possible for leaves to change overnight? I feel that some of them didI didn't think that fall would be so hard to swallow. I'm going to do my best to try to become one with it. Enjoy it if you can.
