Tax Deadline Looms in Clayton

St. Louis County residents can make their payments at the Lawrence K. Roos Government Building in downtown or at satellite offices in west, south or north county.

Clayton and residents have until Friday to pay their county tax bills in person. Tax payments that are mailed must be postmarked by Dec. 31. 

Residents can pay their tax bills between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Collector of Revenue’s office, located in the in downtown Clayton. Satellite offices in west, south or north county also are available.

The Clayton office takes checks, money orders and cash. Real and personal property taxes may also be paid online

Residents who do not pay their taxes can incur interest and penalties, county officials said.
