Storms Possible Sunday; City Issues Debris Guidlines

Severe weather and its aftermath is the focus of a new guide published by the City of Richmond Heights.

The is reminding residents about the steps they should take in the event of severe weather.

A new document posted to the city's website—a copy of which is attached to this article—differentiates between a tornado watch and a tornado warning, identifies who is responsible for clearing debris and provides guidelines for disposing of yard waste.

Scattered rain and thunderstorms are possible after 1 p.m. Sunday and before 1 a.m. Monday, the National Weather Service reported late last week. (LINK: http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=Richmond+Heights&state=MO&site=LSX&textField1=38.6302&textField2=-90.3317&e=0)
