Richmond Heights Amend Code on Alcohol Near Schools, Adopt Bike Plan
The city council for Richmond Heights passed two ordinances and adopted a resolution at last night's meeting.
The council unanimously passed two ordinances on their second readings.
The first authorizes the Mayor to execute an agreement with the St. Louis County Emergency Communications Commission to provide radios to the city and enhance emergency communications.
The second ordinance passed last night added a line defining "school buildings" as elementary or secondary education school to an ordinance that prohibits the sale of alcohol. The ordinance will not permit a business within 200 feet of a church, synagogue or "school" building.
