Comments: A light shield was broken and recommended for replacement within 30 days.

The Caramel House, 222 N. Brentwood Blvd.
Inspection date: Feb. 26

Comments: A backflow prevention device was not properly installed on the water supply system. The device was corrected during the inspection, according to the report.

Inspection date: Feb. 22
Grade: A (98)
Comments: An inspector observed that the ice machine was rusting. Portions of floors, walls and ceilings were noted as being worn, chipped or missing. Repairs were recommended before the next routine inspection.

Coastal Bistro, 14 N. Central Ave.
Inspection date: Feb. 13
Grade: A (99)
Comments: The inspector noted a broken ice bucket that required replacement within 10 days.
