Obama 'War on Religion' Faces GOP Backlash, Clayton's Schlafly Says

Conservative commentator Phyllis Schlafly—who founded the Eagle Forum Education Center in Clayton—is praising the Republican Party platform slated for adoption in conjunction with the 2012 Republican National Convention.

Quoting from her column in the Washington Times:

"The platform speaks loud and clear against the Obama administration’s 'war on religion,' which is trying 'to compel faith-related institutions, as well as believing individuals, to contravene their deeply held religious, moral or ethical beliefs regarding health services, traditional marriage or abortion.'"
