Mayor Linda Goldstein Leaves Job to Focus on City Role

This is her last year serving in that Clayton office.

Mayor Linda Goldstein will leave the corporate world temporarily to focus on her last year in office in , the St. Louis Business Journal reported last week.

Quoting from the Business Journal:

"Linda Goldstein, general manager of the flooring division at CI Select, announced she will be leaving the commercial flooring business on April 13 to focus more on her duties as the mayor of Clayton."

Ward 3 Alderman Steve Lichtenfeld complimented the mayor on Tuesday, telling her during a meeting that he isn't sure how she will accomplish more than she already has.

"It was a big decision but one that I didn't come to overnight, that's for sure," Goldstein said.
